It is with great pleasure and pride that we present to you our outstanding Doctors and Staff.
Dr. Haeberlein & Dr. Wang
Dr. Emily Wang
Originally from Southern California, Dr. Wang is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with degrees from the University of California-Berkeley and the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry. Dr. Wang completed her Residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Southern California and the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She was honored with the University of Southern California's Hugh Kopel Award as Resident of the Year and was elected to the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry. Dr. Wang has been with our office since August 2004. She is also a Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry where she teaches both dental students and Pediatric Dentistry Residents. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and arts & crafts. She is married and has one son.

Dr. Nicolas Bronzini
Dr. Nick is a Pediatric Dentist who grew up on the Peninsula. He received his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni, School of Dentistry and then completed his Pediatric Dental Residency at the University of Southern California and Children's Hospital, Los Angeles. When he is not practicing, Dr. Nick loves to spend time with his wife, watching The Food Network or going on outdoor adventures like snow-skiing, water skiing, hiking, or running.
Dr.
Kristine Chong
Dr. Chong is a Pediatric Dentist who also grew up in Southern California where she received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Southern California. During the next two years, she attended the University of Maryland at Baltimore where she received her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. While in Baltimore, she became involved with the cleft palate/cleft lip team at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. Dr. Chong was practicing in the greater Los Angeles area until she moved to San Francisco to join her husband who is also a dentist. They have one daughter. Dr. Chong has been with our office since July 2005. During her spare time, she and her husband enjoy rooting for the USC Trojans, Golden State Warriors, and the Boston Red Sox.

Dr. Melanie Perea
Dr. Perea is a
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who obtained her dental degree from the
University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry. She
completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University
of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry and the University of Illinois
Medical Center. Dr. Perea earned a Master's of Science Degree in Oral
Sciences during her Pediatric Dental Residency. Dr. Perea has been
with our office also since July 2005. Dr. Perea is married to a Physical Therapist.
They have one daughter. Dr. Perea
loves to sing and is learning the art of Hawaiian Dance (Hula).
She also does weight training and Pilates.

Dr. Lynne Hsia
Dr. Hsia is a General Dentist who has been with our office since September 2000 after graduating that spring from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Dr. Hsia obtained her B.S. Degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Hsia married the love of her life, Dr. Peter Chung, who practices General Dentistry in Napa, CA. Drs. Hsia and Chung love to ski and golf together. In addition, she likes to garden, oil paint, and maintain her holistic vegetarian culinary skills. Dr. Hsia is very interested in Chinese art and history. She has a new puppy that she adores - just ask to see her puppy's picture.
Dr. Hsia has moved to New York City as of June 2008 to complete her training in Pediatric Dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital which she will complete in 2010. We all look forward to her return.

Dr. Quinn Su
Dr.
Su is a General Dentist who really enjoys working with children and
has been primarily treating children and young adults for more than
ten years in our office and in another Pediatric Dentistry office in
the East Bay. Dr. Su graduated from the University of the Pacific
School of Dentistry in 1994 and has been with our office since
February 1996.
Dr. Su splits her time now between our office and her own newly
opened General Practice office in San
Francisco. Her openness,
kindness, and integrity have earned her a large following of patients in
our office. Dr. Su, her husband, and their son enjoy outdoor activities such as
camping, water rafting, and snow skiing.
Dr. Su also speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, Chiu-Chow, and Vietnamese
Dr. Lydia Wong
Dr. Wong is a General Dentist who graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and the University of California Los Angles School of Dentistry where she obtained her dental license in 1991. Dr. Wong has been with our office since April 1997 caring for our children and young adult's needs. She specializes in Cosmetic Dentistry and bleaching teeth for our adolescent patients. She does all the teeth whitening for all our patients and staff ... look at Papa Doc's smile! Spanish is her native language as she was born and raised in Mexico. Dr. Wong is married and has one daughter. Her family loves traveling to different places every summer. For the past few years, she and her family have especially enjoyed the desert and it's hidden treasures. They started with the Grand Canyon and now are expanding to north Utah. This traveling fulfills Dr. Wong's other love, photography. Her digital photography skills are a big part of her daily life both here in our office and at home.

Dr. Fred Haeberlein
Dr. Haeberlein is a Pediatric Dentist who graduated from the University of Nebraska Dental School and the Residency Program at Children's Hospital-Oakland. He has been in practice since 1976. He is affectionately known as "Papa Doc" by both our staff and many patients. He spent two years in the Air Force Medical Corps before moving to California to start his Residency. For the first ten years, his dental practice was located in the Monteagle Medical Center of St. Luke's Hospital in San Francisco. He and his entire staff then moved to our current location in 1988. Dr. Haeberlein is an avid traveler and has had the opportunity to travel to many distant parts of the world. He especially loves to go to southeast Asia and China. Dr. Haeberlein likes to snorkel, walk the beaches of Hawaii or elsewhere, and just sit and read in the shade. Dr. Haeberlein likes to listen to music ranging from classical opera, to country, to Madonna (Dr. Haeberlein was briefly in one of Madonna's early videos, by accident of course). Dr. Haeberlein has long been involved in charity fund raising in the community. "A Gift of Love" benefiting Children's Garden of Marin County was held in our office for five years around Valentine's Day.
Dr. Haeberlein has been proud to have been part of the San Francisco Pediatric Dental Community for the past 25+ years, helping serve the community's oral health care needs. Dr. Haeberlein is the managing partner of the Discovery Dental Group and does clinical examinations for our patients. Dr. Haeberlein has reduced his patient schedule and does not see patients on a daily basis.
