frequently asked questions

What kind of cosmetic dental services do you provide?

Cosmetic Dental TreatmentOur pediatric dental practice has the unique opportunity to provide excellent esthetic dentistry for our adolescent patients, including porcelain and ceramic crowns and veneers.

Veneers are thin, semi-translucent "shells" or plates" that are made of ceramic or porcelain and are permanently bonded to your teenager's or adolescent's teeth. While they are not suitable for every patient, veneers are a cosmetic alternative for a variety of dental conditions of the front teeth, including gaps, permanently stained or discolored teeth, and crooked teeth.

Ceramic and porcelain crowns are esthetic, white colored crowns that are used to restore a badly broken down tooth that has been severely damaged by decay or trauma, has a large old filling, or has had root canal therapy. A crown strengthens the tooth, protecting the remaining tooth structure with a natural looking restoration.
