Excerpts from actual unsolicited reviews:

DoctorOogle.com:

- I was a patient of Dr. Haeberlein's since I was 8. Today I'm 25. I'm deadly scared of dentists but Dr.H was always really gentle and thorough. Under his care, my teeth got better (they were bad!) after his care...they got worse again because I couldn't find another dentist as good. I stopped going to him when I turned 18 because I was no longer a child..=(
I've been to 4 different dentists since and honestly, am still looking for the right one still.
I found his page again to make an appointment for my niece and nephews because it'll be there first time at a dentist and I wanted to make sure that their first experience be as caring and gentle as possible.
Your child will also love the fun waiting areas with toys, books, games, and their favorite TV shows. (I know I did!)

Treatment Length with Dr. Haeberlein: 13 + years.

- I just went to Dr. Haberlein's office today and was introduced to Dr OOgle when filling out a questionarie. I had never heard of Dr OOgle before so I asked the front desk staff about it. I want to say that I agree whole heartedly with the other comments made about the office. What an amazing experience for my daughter andmyself. Everything went so smoothly from checkin to taking pictures. I can not belive that the two dental assistants were able to take pictures for my three year daughter. She did not even cry. Our first checkup was great, no cavities and my daughter left the office smiling and skipping down the hallway with her gift. I am so happy to have found this office through my insurance website and Dr OOgle for my husband and myself and our friends.

- This is the nicest pediatric dental office in the area, and although we have to drive from Novato to see him, it is well worth it, especially since the Doctor has Saturday hours. The desk staff are fantastic, very professionsal, and go to great lengths to make my twin daughters comfortable.

Yelp.com:

- Dr. Fred runs the joint.  But, when you are blessed enough to get him to work on your kids teeth, you will be so tickled.  My kids have been going to Discovery Dental since birth!  And during different times of their loves we have been on all kinds of dental plans (public and private).

True.  You can't make an appointment on Saturday if you are on public assistance.  But, I can see the logic in that.  If you are on public assistance, you probably don't work.  So, you can bring your kid in during the week.  Working parents get the Saturday appointments.  I am not biased.  i can just see the logic in it.

I have NEVER had an issue with their billing.  As a matter of fact, those folks in there are pretty well-versed in insurance billing.  They are all very smart and friendly.  Fred is no "easy win".  So, to work in his office you have to have your stuff together.

His doctors are all smart as hell!  I just have to give it up to the entire group.  They know what they are doing.  They know how to handle your kids (except ain't nobody gonna put one of my kids on one of those straight-jacket thingees....it's just NOT that serious).  But, EVERYTHING is up to the parents.  They don't hard-sell you on anything!  If you want the baby-teeth to rot out ...they aren't trippin.  That is your call as the mama or the daddy!

The staff speak all kinds of languages fluently.  I have personally heard Chinese (different dialects), Spanish (w/ cuban and puerto rican accents) and Hebrew.

- Our insurance changed so we had to switch dentists and I am so glad that we did.  They were so nice to both me and my son.  He had SIX cavities,  a horrifying thing for a parent to hear.  He had to have 3 visits all together, the diagnosis, at which time the dentist gave him a lecture about candy and brushing... which was great because he listened to the dentist more than to me.

The next two visits were his fillings and a crown.  They comforted him the whole time, let me sit with him, explained everything to him and to me thoroughly.  They kept him preoccupied throughout both procedures.

After all that work you would think that a child would hate the dentist, but they made the experience as good as it could have been and we both left there loving everyone that served us.  They really know what they're doing and how to treat children and their families.

Citysearch.com:

- Going to the dentist is not my idea of fun. I did not have good experiences when I was young with a dentist that my mother took me to in Chicago. I was terrified!

Going to the dentist for my children is actually fun and they look forward to going each time. They like everything about this office.
